About
Appiphania (pronounced ” ah – pif -ah – nee – ah” ) … it’s a blend of the words “application” and “epiphany” … sort of sounds like the Eastern Christian holiday “epiphaneia” but certainly no associated meaning
.
My grandsons and I are exploring robotics to help improve their math and science skills. This site is a journal of our adventure. Our development environment is Ubuntu Linux and all of our ideas are developed on one or more Arduino micro-controllers.
We’ll document our adventure weekly and post a few photos of our progress.
We hope to inspire grandparents with rich, life-long skills to share this gift with the young people in their lives. We hope to inspire young folks to develop confidence in themselves, to be creative and to learn new things. There is a fun world outside of the Wii and Xbox that you can explore, design and build yourself!
We hope you enjoy this as much as we do.
Jim
